Will explore how to obtain optimal web portal performance and better scalability from Drupal and the LAMP Stack. Firstly, I will define quantitative goals and take measurements on current environment. As there are many ways you can do to improve the performance and scalability of a Drupal powered website, I will explore Drupal's relevant built-in performance in-depth such as Page Cache, CSS/JS aggregation and compression, Block Cache and other consideration. Later, I will briefly discuss the underlying LAMP stack such as optimizing PHP, Opcode Caches, optimizing Apache, tuning MySQL, Content Delivery Network (CDN), using reverse proxy such as Varnish, and Memcached By Ahmad Najib Habeb Speaker detail http://conf.oss.my/speakers.html Date : 29 June 2010 (Day 1) Time : 11:45am till 12:30am (Community track) Register for MOSC2010 http://conf.oss.my/register.html
