MPEG hardware encoding in the implementation of a Digital Video Recorder Abstract - This paper focuses on preparing a new affordable and convenient hardware model in creating a Digital Video Recorder. Two cards with different specification are compared in determining which hardware model is the best in producing a DVR with reliable features to user's convenience. We hope that this study will assist the future development of hardware model in creating a DVR for Malaysian market.
